No non-refundable Administrative Fees, except for cancellations .

Hourly Fees – covers the costs of obtaining agreements to mediate/arbitrate, scheduling, traveling, billing, conducting mediation/arbitration hearing(s), research, preparation, study and issuing an arbitration award.

Mediation/Arbitration:

2 parties                      $200 hour per party
3 parties                      $150 hour per party
4 or more parties       $125 hour per party

A deposit will be precollected.

All deposits are payable within 10 business days of the scheduled proceeding or the reserved date may be rescheduled. The minimum time for a 2-party mediation/arbitration is five (5) hours. Mediators and Arbitrators are entitled to compensation for all time spent on the case, including  preparation, telephone conferences, attendance at the  mediation/arbitration sessions(s), and travel time when the session is out of Accord’s offices. Compensation for extraordinary travel will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.  Mediators and Arbitrators shall be reimbursed for duplicating expenses, mileage, long-distance charges, parking, meals and lodging.

Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy

If the case settles or  is  withdrawn  after  notice  has  been  sent,  an  administrative  fee of $500/scheduled day will be charged plus any time spent at the applicable hourly rate.  If Accord receives notification of cancellation less than five (5) business days prior to the scheduled session(s), an additional fee of $750/scheduled day will apply. If cancellation is not by mutual agreement, the requesting party will be responsible for the fees due.

INJURY CASES

For 2-Party Injury Claims and a Mediation up to Three (3) Hours, a flat fee of $1500 will be split equally by the parties. Additional time or sessions will be charged at the usual hourly rates.
